What is an Action Reflection Committee?

RMB engages a diverse audience with varied and passionate interests.  Therefore, we are embarking on an effort to connect members who share a desire to support, learn and take action around topics or issues.

This initiative is in its early stages, and each group will self-organize.  Each ARC will decide if its work is short-term or long-term.  One suggested model to follow is this three-fold approach:

  1. Learning and Reflection: We can provide each other with readings, theories, and examples of systemic problems and solutions.
  2. Support and Community: As a group, we can determine actions that support one another, RMB and other organizations who are in the forefront of change.
  3. Action and Advocacy: In time, we will define some specific deliverables that we can bring to a wider audience to start "being the change we want to happen in the world."

And at that point, we can start the cycle of learning, support, and action all over again!

If you are interested in organizing a community around a topic that moves you, contact Danie Watson at 952-404-1314 or dwatson@millcomm.com.
