founded Natural Built Home, a
Twin Cities based green building supply company in 2005. Rachel has

and focus on building a business based on safe and sustainable
products. Rachel is a LEED accredited professional per the United
States Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design program. This accreditation further expands her
knowledge and her ability to help educate customers about green
building practices.
Rachelle Schoessler-Lynn

led the interior design practice for two major Minnesota design
firms. She serves on the licensing board for the State of Minnesota
and chairs the National Sustainable Design Council for ASID.
Rachelle is a frequent lecturer on sustainable design, indoor air
quality, workplace issues and material development. She is an
adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota and a board

works to incorporate environmental strategies into every project.
Kim Bartmann
is the owner of multiple
Minneapolis restaurants including Barbette, Bryant Lake Bowl, and
the first LEED-Certified restaurant in Minnesota, the Red Stag
Supperclub. Jane Grunklee's
lifelong respect for Mother Nature prompted her to undertake the
task of designing and general contracting a 'green' kitchen the
summer of 2007. Now she is designing a 'green' master bedroom bath.
Jane offers her clients environmentally correct suggestions for
re-modeling and building whenever possible. She is presently
studying for her Eco-Broker designation.
More About Our Presenter Businesses:
Natural Built Home
is the Twin Cities premiere one-stop shop for eco-friendly building
materials. Our showroom first opened in south Minneapolis on Earth
Day in 2006. We offer everything from healthy paint and flooring to
dual-flush toilets and recycled denim insulation. We work with
builders, architects, design professionals and homeowners to create
beautiful spaces while respecting the earth and the health of our
clients. Whether you need a low-flow shower head or a brand new
eco-kitchen, Natural Build Home is here to help.
Studio 2030
was founded on the conviction that environmental and economic
objectives are not mutually exclusive, that there is no need to
compromise ethics in the pursuit of aesthetic or functional goals.
We believe the ideals of sustainability - resource conservation,
energy efficiency, pollution prevention - are fully compatible with
design excellence: work that is highly original, high performance
and sublimely beautiful.
We believe design
professionals are accountable for the wellbeing of those who
interact with their work. We believe buildings should be capable of
evolving over time, in line with changing conditions and uses. And
we believe that every project is a process of discovery, an
opportunity to realize solutions that are smarter, offer a better
human experience, and produce less waste than what has come before.
The Red Stag Supperclub
opened on November 19th, 2007 as the first LEED-CI registered
restaurant project in Minnesota. The Red Stag Supperclub strives to
be a good local and world citizen by serving local and organic foods
as much as possible, conserving resources and composting waste, and
by always being on the lookout as to how to better its business
practices. The Red Stag Supperclub values it s relationship with its
customers, its workers, and the environment in which we all live.
