Bob Shepard is a Certified
Financial Planning Practitioner and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA)
with Capital Management Associates, Inc. and a NASD Series 7
licensed registered representative with Capital Management
Securities, Inc. He holds life, disability, long term care and
health insurance licensing in the State of Minnesota. Bob offers
full-service financial and investment counsel to individuals, small
businesses, religious and non-profit organizations. He has worked in
financial and investment planning since 1983. Bob spent five years
with IDS/American Express before establishing an independent
practice specializing in ethical investments.
Socially Responsible
Investments (SRI) are Bob's specialty. He has experience as a course
instructor and public speaker on money management and ethical
investing. In 1989 he joined the Social Investment Forum, serving as
Minnesota Chapter President until 1993. For fifteen years, Bob has
been a member of the Social Investment Forum, a national
professional organization representing individuals and organizations
committed to aligning their investments with their social,
environmental and ethical concerns.
Bob's practice is fee based
with commission offset, and introductory visits are without charge.
A 1982 graduate of St. Olaf College, Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Mathematics. He earned his Certified Financial Planner
designation in 1987.
