Exploring the Business Case for Paying a Living Wage

This forum will outline strategies businesses are using to close the gap between the cost of living in Minnesota and employee wages.  You'll hear how several companies have improved productivity and reduced turnover by raising wages and helping people achieve self-reliance.  Jobs Now Coalition will share the latest data on the cost of living; Growth and Justice will outline public policy options for boosting wages; business people will provide a hands-on perspective; and an Institute economist will moderate a discussion.
